My name is Rachelle Sakemi and I am excited to be joining the Canyon Vista Elementary School family as Assistant Principal! I’ve been a teacher and an instructional leader at the elementary and middle school levels for the past 21 years. Recently I served the Don Juan Avila and Moulton Communities as an Assistant Principal. Having the opportunity to postively affect public education is a passion of mine and I look forward to supporting this community as we create our future leaders.
Along with the principal, I will continue to focus on Canyon Vista’s mission of ensuring ALL students are supported in their learning to ensure they evolve into thoughtful, confident, and kind community members. I believe in honesty and equity in education and that every child can succeed. I look forward to having a partnership with you to build these qualities in ALL students to help shape their future.
